<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong>:</p>
<p>To provide quality and accurate business administrative support services to internal and external stakeholders enabling Nedbank to achieve its business goals.</p>
<p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong>:</p>
<p>&#8211; Action stakeholder requests by capturing and processing the administration request on the relevant system<br />
&#8211; Action vendor invoice payments by capturing and processing the data on the relevant system<br />
&#8211; Perform reconciliations from Supplier invoice and general ledger accounts by comparing with the supporting documents and Management Information Systems (MIS)</p>
<p>&#8211; Contribute to revenue increase by driving the submitted sales to completion<br />
&#8211; Compile a catalogue of services by allocating costs per product<br />
&#8211; Ensure recovery of costs for services rendered by maintaining and monitoring the transfer pricing system<br />
&#8211; Ensure delivery of value for services rendered by utilizing product MIS as input into vendor engagement meetings for the purpose of driving down costs</p>
<p>&#8211; Monitor departmental financial performance by analyzing actual to budget variances<br />
&#8211; Contribute to efficient budget compilation by applying statistical growth information to financial expenditure requirements<br />
&#8211; Minimize financial and reputational risk by ensuring accuracy of processing activities<br />
&#8211; Minimize operational costs by avoiding unnecessary expenditure</p>
<p>&#8211; Provide feedback to internal and external stakeholders by generating and making available relevant reports and MIS<br />
&#8211; Meet and exceed internal and external client needs by timeously responding to queries and actioning the request within the Service Level Agreement (SLA)<br />
&#8211; Ensure to follow through relevant tasks by monitoring and verifying the process flow till completion</p>
<p>&#8211; Ensure to verify and authenticate reports, data, and transactions by physically extracting, generating, and checking reports from the system<br />
&#8211; Verify client information on systems in accordance with Nedbank policies and FICA rules</p>
<p>&#8211; Prepare trustee meeting packs and month-end packs for management<br />
&#8211; Maintain and update the administration files and legal documents by saving electronic files on the server or physical secure repository<br />
&#8211; Escalate anomalies where cases or call records not found or if there is a mismatch of accounts are not logged by emailing Team Manager</p>
<p>&#8211; Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impact on role by reading the relevant newsletters, websites, and attending sessions<br />
&#8211; Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with the team and stakeholders<br />
&#8211; Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments in the field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from managers</p>

<p>As the largest contributor among South African banks, Nedbank has played a pivotal role in the initiative, supporting over 5,000 South African youth by equipping them with skills to either enter the job market or embark on entrepreneurial ventures.</p>
<p><strong>2024 Application Period Now Open</strong></p>
<p>The YES Programme, a business-led collaboration with the government, aims to tackle unemployment by offering youth the chance to develop new skills and gain valuable workplace experience, significantly enhancing their prospects for long-term employment.</p>
<p><strong>Who Can Apply?</strong></p>
<p>South African youth aged between 18 and 29, possessing a matric qualification, currently unemployed, not engaged in full-time or part-time studies, and falling under the BBBEE Act definition of &#8216;black people&#8217; are eligible to apply. Furthermore, applicants must not have participated in a YES Programme with another organization previously.</p>
<p><strong>Duration and Compensation</strong></p>
<p>Selected candidates for the Nedbank YES Programme will be employed for 12 months to acquire quality work experience. Unlike learnerships, internships, or apprenticeships, the YES Programme focuses on providing real-world employment opportunities.</p>
<p>Participants will receive a monthly stipend determined by the YES Programme, aimed at supporting living expenses, food, and travel costs.</p>
<p><strong>Work Experience Locations</strong></p>
<p>The quality work experience offered through the Nedbank YES Programme will be stationed across Nedbank&#8217;s various sites, branches, and offices nationwide. Some positions may even offer the flexibility of a hybrid or remote work model.</p>
<p>Depending on the division, role, and job requirements, YES participants may need to work weekdays or adhere to a shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays. This necessitates that YES participants have the ability to commute to and from their designated Nedbank workplace</p>

<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p>

<li>NQF Level 4 or higher in Banking, Sales, Marketing, Financial, or Business-related field.</li>
<li>Minimum FAIS 120 Credits.</li>
<li>1-2 years of sales experience in a Contact Centre or Banking environment.</li>
<li>1-2 years of Contact Centre or Banking experience required.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Clear ITC and Criminal Record.</li>
<li>Basic computer literacy.</li>
<li>Proficient in English, both written and spoken.</li>
<li>Basic numerical ability.</li>

<li>Understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks.</li>
<li>Familiarity with relevant software and systems.</li>
<li>Strong business writing skills.</li>
<li>Knowledge of banking procedures, principles, and terms.</li>
<li>Awareness of governance, risk, and controls.</li>
