Requirements:

Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
National Diploma in Finance Management or equivalent preferred.
Experience in hospital Finance environment.
Understanding of Public Service Legislative Framework including Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, and DORA.
Knowledge of SAP – HIS system, Basic Accounting System (BAS), PAAB/MEDICOM advantageous.
Good communication skills (verbal, written, and reporting).
Computer literate and ability to work under pressure.

Duties:

Compile and capture journals, allocate SCOA codes, reconcile BAS/SAP, MEDSAS/BAS, and PERSAL/BAS.
Process Sundry payments through e-invoicing.
Update commitment register and reconcile suppliers’ statements.
Report on accruals.
Billing and submission of accounts to debtors.
Trace outstanding debts and capture EFT payments on PAAB/SAP HIS system.
Update patient information.
Perform sub-cashier’s functions within the hospital.
Capture manual receipts when the system is offline.
Submit monthly reports to head office.
Perform any other duties as delegated by supervisor.
