Job Description:

PEP is seeking Part-Time Sales Assistants for various locations. As a member of the PEP team, you’ll have the opportunity to work up to a maximum of 27 hours per week. We pride ourselves on being Dynamos – individuals who work hard, have fun, and prioritize customer satisfaction.

Purpose of Position:

As a Part-Time Sales Assistant, your responsibilities will include promoting sales, minimizing stock losses, managing stock, serving customers, operating the till, and upholding a low-cost culture to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Minimize stock losses through adherence to security measures and proper handling of stock and cash.
• Maintain a low-cost business by driving efficiencies within the store.
• Handle cash transactions in accordance with company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to drive sales.
• Ensure the store maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.

Requirements:

• Matric qualification
• Proficiency in English
• Clear criminal record
• South African citizenship
• Sales or cashier experience preferred
• Proficiency in isiXhosa and English advantageous
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
