Requirements:
- Matric certificate or equivalent
- Call Center or NQF level 4 qualification
- Computer literacy certificate
- 1-3 years experience in Switchboard call center environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure, including shifts
- Fluent in English and other languages or multilingual
- Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles
- Ability to handle confidential information
Duties:
- Update and write doctors call roster daily
- Handle incoming calls, transfer to appropriate extensions, and take messages
- Make calls on behalf of staff
- Maintain records of calls and messages
- Answer general enquiries from internal and external users
- Report telephone faults to the supervisor
- Ensure proper handling of Switchboard apparatus to relay messages to the hospital community through the SMs platform
