Toyota SA Maintenance Apprenticeship 2024:
The Maintenance Apprenticeship is situated at Toyota SA’s Prospecton location in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Successful candidates will receive training in jig, tool, millwright, and die maker trades at Toyota SA’s Technical Training Centre. Note that program completion doesn’t guarantee permanent placement.
Who Should Apply? Applicants must meet these eligibility criteria:
- Millwright Apprenticeship:
- NTC3 qualification with Engineering Science, Maths, Mechanical/Electrical trade theory, or technical matric with Physical Science, Maths, and Graphic Design.
- Preferably with relevant workshop experience.
- Jig, Tool, and Die Maker Apprenticeship:
- NTC3 qualification with Engineering Science, Maths, Technical drawing, and Tool-making trade theory, or technical matric with Physical Science, Maths, and Graphic Design.
- Preferably with relevant workshop experience.
Technical and Behavioral Competencies:
- Accurate information analysis
- Commitment to the company’s vision
- Decisiveness and situational awareness
- Framework and system development capability
- Providing feedback on evaluation results
- Knowledgeable in resource redistribution and work method assessment
