Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Consultant to join our team and drive residential security sales. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the primary responsibility is to effectively quote and secure new clients for ADT Security services.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and sell armed monitoring and response agreements to potential clients.
Promote and sell new alarm systems, upgrades, CCTV systems, and electric fences.
Meet and exceed monthly sales targets for both new customers and hardware sales.
Qualifications and Experience:

Previous sales experience, preferably in capital goods sales.
Knowledge of intruder detection equipment, such as IDS and DSC alarm systems, is advantageous.
Matric or equivalent qualification.
Job Requirements:

Self-motivated with strong selling skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Good organizational and time management abilities.
Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office.
Presentable with a valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.

Duties:

Generate and close self-sourced deals.
Follow up on leads received internally and via telesales.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
Ensure timely follow-up on all leads and quotes.
Performance Standards:

Achieve revenue sales and new client targets.
Maintain high standards of client relationships.
Timely follow-up on leads and quotes.

Competencies:

Drive for results and action-oriented.
Customer-focused with a sense of urgency.
Problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
Ability to adapt and learn new technologies.
