Job Description:

As a Team Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (SHE) Standards:

• Reporting all incidents within your shift promptly.
• Maintaining a tidy and safe work area.
• Actively participating in safety meetings and inspections.

Compliance with Quality Standards:

• Ensuring alignment of all invoices with standard procedures.
• Resolving queries related to invoices from various departments.
• Ensuring accuracy in reservations and purchase orders.

Work Processes:

• Working within established policies, processes, and systems.
• Arranging and managing meeting venues.
• Preparing documents and presentations for the chemistry section.
• Coordinating business trips and managing travel arrangements.
• Assisting global Travel & Services (T&S) members visiting the Johannesburg office.
• Facilitating waste management on-site for the chemistry department.
• Handling incident logging and management through Isometrix.
• Managing supplier onboarding and departmental consumables.
• Handling expense reconciliation and invoice administration.
• Providing first point of contact for the department and daily administration support.
• Compiling liaison meeting minutes and assisting with ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Matric with English proficiency.
• Advanced computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with travel and expenses booking tools.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and use initiative.

Additional Information:

• Knowledge of Anglo-American Group operations in South Africa is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Anglo American branding templates and Docusign is a plus.
