- Grade 10 / AET level 5 to Grade 12 certificate.
- Knowledge of Batho Pele principles, Patient rights, and OHS act.
- 6 months experience in a hospital environment.
- Ability to work shifts as per allocation.
Duties:
- Providing cleaning services including cleaning wards, offices, corridors, and boardrooms.
- Dusting, sweeping, scrubbing, and waxing floors.
- Vacuuming and cleaning floors, walls, windows, and doors.
- Collecting and removing waste papers.
- Cleaning kitchens and restrooms.
- Keeping cleaning material safe and reporting broken equipment.
- Cleaning equipment after use.
- Flexibility regarding shifts (both night and day).
- Upholding Ideal Hospital Framework and Realization, Batho Pele Principles, Patient’s Rights, and OHS Act.
- Contributing to the management of complaints and Patient Safety Incidents.
- Performing any other delegated duties.

Following up on linen not received back.
Sluicing stained linen.
Assisting in stocktaking and weekly spot checks.
Cleaning linen trolleys before and after use.
Flexibility regarding shifts (both night and day).

Contributing to the management of complaints and Patient Safety Incidents.
