Job Description:
Join our dynamic team at PEP as a Part-Time Sales Assistant! We’re looking for individuals who embody our values of fun, hard work, and ownership. As a PEP Dynamo, you’ll be instrumental in promoting sales, reducing stock losses, managing inventory, providing excellent customer service, operating the till, and upholding our low-cost culture.
Responsibilities:
Minimize stock loss by fostering a healthy store culture and adhering to security measures and procedures.
Drive efficiency and maintain a low-cost business model in alignment with company culture.
Handle cash transactions according to company policies.
Collaborate with fellow Dynamos to ensure a positive team environment.
Uphold health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Enhance sales through exceptional customer service, maintaining store standards, managing inventory, implementing promotions, and ensuring accurate pricing.
Requirements:
Matric qualification.
Proficiency in English.
Clear criminal record.
Preferences:
While not mandatory, meeting these preferences will be advantageous:
South African citizenship.
Experience as a Sales Assistant or Cashier.
Proficiency in English and isiZulu.
Residing within 15km of the job location.
Computer literacy.
Passion for retail.
Integrity and willingness to exceed expectations.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
