SPAR Group: Administration Clerk Position

Introduction: Q Square SPAR and TOPS, located in Worcester, are currently seeking an Administration Clerk to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities: The Administration Clerk is tasked with ensuring optimal internal control and efficient system utilization to enhance profitability and contribute to store management. Responsibilities include:

• Managing front-end operations.
• Handling personnel administration.
• Overseeing GRV office tasks.
• Managing debtors and creditors.
• Preparation of weekly reports.
• Maintaining store documentation.
• Supervising staff.

Desired Experience & Qualification: Ideal candidates should possess:

• A Matric Certificate or equivalent (with Accounting and pure Mathematics being advantageous).
• Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve set targets.
• Effective communication skills with consumers, colleagues, and suppliers.
• Problem-solving abilities related to retail store management.
• Proficiency in data input using relevant software at an advanced level.
• Understanding of relevant legislation.
• High level of accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in FMCG is advantageous.
