Job Description:

Capitec Bank Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Costing and Administration Assistant to join their team in Durban.

As a Costing and Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the costing of branch construction and/or refurbishment within a specific geographical area, ensuring that projects are delivered in accordance with agreed specifications, timelines, and budgets.

You will also provide administrative support to the Head of Projects and other team members as required.

Responsibilities:

– Manage the costing of branch construction and/or refurbishment projects within a specific geographical area

– Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed specifications, timelines, and budgets

– Provide administrative support to the Head of Projects and other team members as required
– Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
– Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies

Requirements:

– At least 3 years of cost accountancy, business management, and project management experience in a building/construction/refurbishment environment

– A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting
– Knowledge of project management, production planning/logistics, building/construction methods/materials/regulations, financial management, budgeting and reporting, audit requirements, and accounting principles

– Excellent communication, computer literacy, administration, planning, organizing, and coordination skills
– Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
– Clear criminal and credit record
– Contactable via own mobile phone
– A valid driver’s license and own vehicle is required
