Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent
National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology Management, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or Public Management/Administration
2-3 years’ experience in health facility information management
Computer proficiency
Knowledge of finance, HR matters, training, telephone etiquette, planning, organizing, procurement, statistics, mathematics
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Report writing and presentation skills
Proficiency in MS Office software, especially MS Excel
Experience with Medicom or PAAB patient administration systems, TIER.NET, DATCOV, and WebDHIS is advantageous

Duties:

Coordinate data collection and maintenance of health information databases
Ensure security and maintenance of information systems
Supervise data capture process
Oversee information management system performance
Validate and ensure integrity of health information data
Compile and present monthly clinical statistical reports
Facilitate trainings on data management processes
Provide advice on information technology and systems
Address audit findings and develop improvement plans
Manage allocated resources and HR activities
