This exciting opportunity is designed for individuals passionate about pursuing a career as an artisan in Carpentry. .The programme offers a comprehensive training experience, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills, to equip participants with the expertise needed to succeed in their chosen trade.
Programme Details:
– Duration: Up to 3 years
– Trade: Carpentry
– Requirements:
– N2 certificate with relevant trade theory subject.
– Technical/Grade 12 with Maths and Physical Science/Engineering science and related trade theory subject.
– Relevant N6 certificate or National Technical diploma (S or N stream)
– eThekwini resident (proof of residence required)
– South African citizen with valid ID
– Unemployed
– Passion and interest in the field
– Age: 18-30 years
– No prior participation in similar apprenticeship programmes
Programme Structure:
– Apprenticeship programme as per QCTO, SETA, and National Artisan Moderating Body requirements
– Practical training on-site and theoretical training at a designated institution
– Formal trade test to qualify as an Artisan in Carpentry
