Mercedes-Benz South Africa Graduate Development Programme (GDP) 2024
The GDP is a unique development opportunity for recently qualified graduates who desire to be an integral part of the MBSA talent pool. The programme offers:
– Relevant practical experience in your field of study
– Exposure to a world-class manufacturing facility and environment
– An opportunity to apply for positions within the organisation
– Coaching and mentoring support
There are two intakes available:
– Electrical, Analytical Chemistry & Industrial Engineering Intake
– Mechanical, Mechatronics & Metrology Intake
Requirements:
– Candidates who have recently graduated within the last 3 years
– South African Citizens
– Graduates from the Eastern Cape region will have an added advantage
– Recently qualified graduates with a full NQF 6 or higher in the relevant career streams
– Grade 12 with distinction in Mathematics and/or Physical Science an advantage
– Relevant Tertiary Qualification with an average pass mark of 65%
Technician Laboratory Position
The Technician Laboratory position is responsible for supporting production with chemical analysis and monitoring of critical materials and plant processes to ensure strict adherence to Mercedes-Benz quality standards.
Requirements:
– Minimum NQF 7 – Degree in Chemistry or relevant equivalent
– At least 6 months of participation in the MBSA Graduate Development Programme
– 3 years of experience working in a chemical laboratory
– Experience with automotive coatings, metal pretreatment, and e-coat processes would be advantageous
