Welcome to PLAY – Powerful Learning Around You! We’re on a mission to train 150,000 Early Childhood Development (ECD) practitioners, Grade R & Foundation Phase educators in South Africa on play-based learning.

PLAY is a free in-service training course, designed to complement existing formal training.
It doesn’t replace educational training but earns participants 15 CPD credits as per the South African Council for Educators Act.
You can complete the course at your own pace, dedicating just 2 hours a week.

How it works:
- Register on our site, and the course begins immediately.
- Book a support workshop if needed.
- All training occurs on our platform, featuring sessions with videos, images, readings, tasks, evaluations, and reflection activities.
- Receive PLAY ideas and resources via email after each completed session.
- Obtain a certificate with credits upon completing the training.
