Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Grade 12 Certificate with minimum English 5(60%), Mathematics 5(60%), and Physical Science 5(60%)
• University Acceptance with an APS of 23 (Mid-year results provisionally considered if currently studying)
• Not currently studying or having completed prior University studies

Appointee Requirements:

• Residing in the Labour sending area or local community
• Medically fit for the position and environment determined by a risk-based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre

Advantageous Qualifications:

• Distinctions in Mathematics and Physical Science

Additional Requirements:

• Interview process and psychometric assessment
• Workplace orientation and underground exposure visits required
• Upload proof of residence, CV, and certified (SAPS) copies of ID and qualifications online
• Final Allocation dependent on obtaining acceptance letter from the University of Johannesburg
• Subject to clearance screening by South African Police Services

Key Responsibilities: A limited number of positions offered to local community and labour sending areas for full-time study and Learnership opportunity in line with Sibanye-Stillwater’s business needs in Mining Engineering discipline.

Beneficiaries will receive a bursary, practical exposure (Learnership), and full employment package with company benefits aligned with Sibanye Stillwater Learner Official Scheme. Tuition fees and books provided by Sibanye-Stillwater.
