Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the Nurse Training Programme 2023, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Be a South African citizen or have permanent residency in South Africa
2. Be at least 17 years old and not older than 35 years old
3. Have a National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent qualification with admission to Bachelor’s degree studies
4. Have a minimum of level 4 in English as a home language or first additional language
5. Have a minimum of level 3 in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
6. Have a minimum of level 3 in Physical Science or Life Sciences
