Requirements:

• Grade 10 qualification; Grade 12 preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License advantageous.
• Excellent bilingual interpersonal and communication skills.
• Preference for applicants residing within the Midvaal area.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good physical health and basic skills for physical labor.
• 1 year of relevant experience in general work within a purification or wastewater treatment works section within a Local Government Authority is advantageous.

Duties:

• Loading and off-loading materials and equipment with safety precautions.
• Placing traffic signs to alert motorists during road work.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the work area using manual labor tools.
• Undertaking additional labor-related tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Adhering to legal instructions to ensure section productivity.
• Performing any other ad hoc tasks assigned by management.

Salary:

• R 142,608.00 – R 156,228.00 per annum (Level 13 of a Grade 8 Local Authority).
• Total package inclusive of benefits: R 265,897.52 per annum.

Preference:
