Requirements:

– Qualification allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant
– Registration with SANC as a Nursing Assistant and proof of current registration
– 1-year experience in a hospital setting (advantageous)

Competencies/Knowledge/Skills:

– Elementary understanding of nursing legislation and legal/ethical practices
– Perform elementary clinical nursing practice according to scope and standards
– Promote quality elementary nursing care

Duties:

– Assist patients with daily living activities (physical care)
