SAB is looking for three Checker Operators to join our team at the Waltloo Depot in Tswane! As a Checker Operator, you will play a crucial role in loading, unloading, and stacking materials safely and efficiently while maintaining our high standards of governance and customer service.

Responsibilities:

– Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure optimal forklift condition
– Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards
– Maintain site housekeeping and use personal protective equipment
– Manage stock quality, rotation, and inventory

– Ensure accurate checking, loading, and unloading of vehicles
– Update shipment status and perform daily stock counts
– Generate variance reports and resolve discrepancies

– Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors
– Ensure production continuity and load empties and raw materials onto production lines
– Remove and stack finished product from lines to bins

Requirements:

– Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent
– Valid forklift driver license
– Experience operating a double handler
– Computer literate with SAP literacy advantageous
– Good interpersonal and communication skills

– Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change

– Good numerical ability

Are you a skilled technician with a passion for maintenance and optimization? Do you have experience in the brewing industry and a desire to work with a team that dreams big?

SAB is looking for a Packaging Artisan to join our team at the Ibhayi Brewery! As a Packaging Artisan, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality at minimum cost without sacrificing standards.

Responsibilities:

– Maintain a safe, healthy, risk-free working environment
– Perform maintenance and repairs on plant and associated devices

– Operate and maintain all machines and associated devices in the brewing process
– Optimize plant, process equipment, and systems

– Ensure maintenance tasks are completed appropriately
– Standby duty required as per roster

Requirements:

– Minimum N4 Technical qualification or higher
– Trade test qualification in Millwright
– Experience in Utilities would be advantageous
– Summative assessment in current role would be advantageous

– 2 years’ post-trade test experience would be advantageous
– Basic Computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
– Basic Operations of electronic communication devices
