Job Description:
We are seeking an Administrative Specialist to join our FMS Customer Service team in Kempton Park.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong business partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, providing shared service within the FMS CS team, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
– Client order consolidation and bookings
– Performance measurement and metrics
– Familiarization with FMS CS SOP’s and Work Instructions
– Effective resolution of customer orders and queries
– Dealing with customers via email or phone
– Assisting Logistics Co-ordinator with day-to-day activities
– Maintaining customer value elements (quality, service, cost, and time)
– Resolving client return queries and processing upliftments/collections
– Daily team meetings and cross-functional support
– Communicating with stakeholders through various channels
– Mandatory assistance in other FMS CS responsibilities
Requirements:
– Grade 12
– 1-year Logistics or relevant qualification + 1 year’s experience OR
– 6 months – 1 year relevant experience in Logistics (local and/or exports) industry
– Knowledge of WMS systems
– Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint for data management, reporting, and SOP’s
– Proficient in Data capturing
– Excellent reporting skills
– Good documentation skills
– Financial acumen
– Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
– Ability to work under pressure
– Assertive, forward-thinking, solution-oriented, and self-motivated
