Job Overview:
As a Picker/Packer, you will play a vital role in our warehousing department, responsible for pulling and packing products using a pallet jack and/or trolley based on daily orders.
Your duties will also include general warehouse work to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Requirements:
– Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent
– 1+ year of warehouse experience
– Experience in using scanners
– 1+ year of experience in picking, binning, and stock counts
Key Responsibilities:
– Ensure timely put-away and picking of cargo
– Pick and bin orders using a scanner
– Ensure accurate cargo racking and picking for dispatch
– Conduct physical stock counts
– Re-palletize cargo as needed
– Assist with loading and off-loading of road vehicles and containers
– Tally inward cargo
– Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S activities)
– Ensure SHEQ activities are maintained in the work area
