Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in managing the daily operations of our store in Northern Cape, South Africa.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store meets and exceeds its objectives, targets, and customer service standards.
Responsibilities:
– Stock Management: Ensure accurate receipt, unpacking, and merchandising of stock, and monitor stock levels to mitigate risks and ensure adequate stock on hand.
– Sales Growth & Profitability: Analyze sales and profitability reports, collaborate with management on action plans, and monitor store expenditure to increase sales performance.
– Risk Management: Conduct compliance checks to ensure enforcement of policies and procedures.
– Customer Experience Management: Implement customer experience processes to meet customer service standards.
– Leadership & Development: Lead and drive the team to achieve store KPIs, identify training needs, and recruit, administer, and manage performance in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications:
– Grade 12
– 2-3 years’ experience in a Supervisory/Assistant Store Management capacity
– Understanding of Sales & Service Management, Budgeting Skills, and MS Office
– Effective Communication Skills
– Understanding of Retail Trade, Brand, Customer, and Product
