Job Description:

As a Shelfpacker at Pick n Pay, your responsibilities will include:

  • Packing shelves and bins according to established standards.
  • Attending to customer requests promptly and efficiently, offering the required products and services.
  • Providing knowledgeable advice to customers on products.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the warehouse and on the shop floor.
  • Unpacking, stacking, and storing stock safely and neatly in the warehouse.
  • Demonstrating a customer-centric approach by understanding and responding positively to customer needs.
  • Displaying excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear and effective interactions with customers and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 10 qualification (Grade 12 advantageous).
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to empathize and respond to customer needs effectively.
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to completing tasks efficiently.
  • Consistent performance at a high standard.
  • Willingness to adapt to flexible working hours and shifts as per operational requirements.
