Job Description:
As a Shelfpacker at Pick n Pay, your responsibilities will include:
- Packing shelves and bins according to established standards.
- Attending to customer requests promptly and efficiently, offering the required products and services.
- Providing knowledgeable advice to customers on products.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the warehouse and on the shop floor.
- Unpacking, stacking, and storing stock safely and neatly in the warehouse.
- Demonstrating a customer-centric approach by understanding and responding positively to customer needs.
- Displaying excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear and effective interactions with customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 10 qualification (Grade 12 advantageous).
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to empathize and respond to customer needs effectively.
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment to completing tasks efficiently.
- Consistent performance at a high standard.
- Willingness to adapt to flexible working hours and shifts as per operational requirements.
